DESCRIPTION
1. What is a perforated plaster?
Plaster consisting of a rigid fibranne backing coated on one side only with a zinc oxide adhesive, free from natural rubber, to adhere to the skin by simple pressure, without perforation.
2. Characteristics
- Perforated
- Dimensions: 5 m x 18 cm.
- Highly adhesive woven plaster.
- Woven fibranne with zinc oxide.
- For single use only.
- Natural latex-free, hypoallergenic.
3. Classification
A class I medical device (low risk).
4. Composition
- Fibranne backing.
- Adhesive mass: synthetic rubber and synthetic adhesive resins, zinc oxide.
5. Indications
- For securing tubing, probes and care equipment
- For holding dressings.
6. Contraindications
- Allergy to synthetic products.
- Hyperhidrosis.
- Infants in incubators.
7. Precautions for use
- Do not use on damp or oily skin or surfaces
- Make sure that the dressing is securely and effectively applied
- Remove the dressing when the patient is having an X-ray examination or undergoing radiation treatment.
- Because plasters are easy to cut, they are not recommended for applications where high resistance of the support is required.
- Must be applied to dry, clean skin or surface.
