DESCRIPTION
Stressed out? Feeling sick to your stomach? Slight sleep problems?
Euphytose® is a herbal medicine traditionally used to relieve mild symptoms of stress and promote sleep. Its use is reserved for the indication specified on the sole basis of long-standing use.
Euphytose is composed of 4 active ingredients:
- Passionflower: Passionflower Native to Amazonia, passionflower has mild relaxing and sedative properties. It is traditionally used to relieve mild symptoms of nervous tension and irritability. It also helps to induce sleep.
- Hawthorn: Hawthorn This shrub with fragrant flowers and red berries is traditionally used to relieve mild symptoms of stress and promote sleep.
- Valerian: Valerian is a plant traditionally used to relieve mild symptoms of stress and promote sleep.
- Horehound: Horehound has mild relaxing and sedative properties. It is used in particular to help people fall asleep.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding
Little is known about the effect of this medicine during pregnancy or while breast-feeding. It should not be used by pregnant or breast-feeding women.
Contraindications
Euphytose® should not be taken by patients with :
- Allergy to any of the ingredients: fructose intolerance, sucrase or isomaltase deficiency (rare disease), glucose and galactose absorption disorders.
- In the absence of available data, its administration is not recommended for children under 12 years of age.
Precautions for use
- If there is no improvement after 2 weeks of treatment, consult your doctor.
- Precautions should be taken in cases of hepatic insufficiency.
- Keep out of sight and reach of children.
- If you have to drive or use dangerous machinery, make sure beforehand that this medicine does not impair your alertness.
USE ADVICE
Euphytose® tablets should be swallowed without chewing, preferably with water or a hot drink(7).
To relieve the symptoms of stress
- Adults: 1 to 2 tablets, 3 times a day
- Adolescents over 12: 1 tablet, 3 times a day
To promote sleep
- Adults: 1 tablet with the evening meal, 1 tablet at bedtime
- Adolescents over 12: 1 tablet with the evening meal
If symptoms persist for more than 2 weeks, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
