Thuasne ACTIV SECURITY SPORT mask

The Thuasne ACTIV SECURITY SPORT mask is a washable and reusable fabric mask. It is designed for people who are active on a daily basis and practise moderate sport1. Its 98.7% filtration capacity offers two-way protection2 (protection of the wearer and people in his or her presence) and meets the regulatory requirements of AFNOR and ANSM.

The anatomical cut covers the nose, mouth and chin, with a breathing pocket. Its preformed knit design facilitates breathing and limits condensation inside the mask and fogging of glasses. Its soft, hypoallergenic inner fabric reduces skin irritation.

Washable and reusable 50 times, this durable mask is part of THUASNE's commitment to environmental responsibility. The mask is Oeko-Tex®3 certified and is produced in France.

Why wear the ACTIV' SECURITY washable mask ?

The symmetrical construction of the fabrics provides identical filtering power in both directions: the wearer protects himself and others against the emission or projection of droplets of saliva or secretions from the upper airways which may contain transmissible infectious agents. This ergonomic mask ensures compliance with health standards during physical activity. It is suitable for moderate sporting activities (such as walking at a brisk pace, cycling or scootering), or for active occupations.

Easy to use

Position the mask with clean hands, with the Thuasne logo on the outside and the orange strip at the top. Secure the mask with the elastics at the back of the ears and adjust the nose clip. Make sure the mask covers the mouth, nose and chin. Change the mask after wearing it continuously for 4 hours, or after eating or drinking.

Precautions for use

This barrier mask does not replace barrier measures (regular hand washing, physical distancing, reducing contact with other people).

It adds a physical barrier enabling the user to protect his environment against particle projections.

It can also provide limited protection against infectious agents.

Correct fitting of your mask is essential to ensure good protection.

Before putting on a mask, wash your hands with soap and water or a hydro-alcoholic solution.

The mask must be clean and dry each time you put it on.

To protect your health and that of others, it is very important to follow the instructions. If you are ill, this mask is not suitable. Ask your doctor for advice.

This washable mask is not intended for nursing staff.

The ACTIV SECURITY SPORT mask is not intended to be worn during intensive sports activities.

As a general rule, health professionals formally advise against wearing a protective mask during sporting activities.
