THUASNE KID SECURITY children's mask 

The THUASNE KID SECURITY mask is an ergonomic mask made from washable fabric. Its 99% filtration capacity offers bilateral protection1, inside out and inside out, and meets the regulatory requirements of AFNOR and ANSM. The anatomical fit encompasses the nose, mouth and chin, and is adapted to the face of children and preadolescents. Its one-piece design eliminates the need for central seams. This mask is part of THUASNE's commitment to environmental responsibility. The mask can be washed and reused 50 times, is Oeko-Tex®2 certified and is designed and manufactured in France.

Why wear the THUASNE KID SECURITY children's mask?

The symmetrical construction1 of the fabrics provides identical filtering power in both directions: the wearer protects himself and others against the emission or projection of droplets of saliva or secretions from the upper airways that may contain transmissible infectious agents. It is specially designed for the faces of children and preadolescents, and is suitable for wearing at school or on transport.

Simple to use: position the mask with clean hands, with the Thuasne logo on the outside. Put the elastics behind the ears and adjust the mask so that it covers the mouth and nose, with the bottom down under the chin. Change the mask after wearing it continuously for 4 hours, or after eating or drinking.

Precautions for use

This barrier mask does not replace barrier measures (regular hand washing, physical distancing, reducing contact with other people). It adds a physical barrier enabling the user to protect his environment against particle projections.

It can also provide limited protection against infectious agents.

Correct fitting of your mask is essential to guarantee good protection.

Before putting on a mask, wash your hands with soap and water or a hydro-alcoholic solution.

The mask must be clean and dry each time you put it on.

To protect your health and that of others, it is very important to follow the instructions.

If you are ill, this mask is not suitable for you. Ask your doctor for advice.

This mask is not intended for nursing staff.

Contraindications

• Known allergy to one of the components.
• Do not place the product in direct contact with damaged skin.
• Severe respiratory insufficiency.

This barrier mask is neither a medical device within the meaning of Regulation EU/2017/745 (surgical masks), nor personal protective equipment within the meaning of Regulation EU/2016/425 (as a type FFP2 filtering mask).

Mask complying with MBS AFNOR SPEC S76-001 - filtration > 90%.

Material whose performance has been measured by the laboratories of DGA Maîtrise NRBC, 5 rue Lavoisier, 91710 Vert-le-Petit (IFTH tests ref 2020-08-19-023) and which withstands 50 washes.

Filtration efficiency of 3 μm particles > 90%.

Respirability 131 L.m-2.s-1 measured by IFTH at 100 Pa vacuum.
