DESCRIPTION
Thuasne sport lumbar support belt
The Thuasne sport lumbar support belt provides support and elastic reinforcement in the lumbar area to relieve lower back pain. The rigid back stays provide the support needed to maintain posture. The lumbar support belt can be worn when returning to sport in the event of back pain. The device relieves lower back pain by supporting the lumbar spine: the lumbar compartment is relieved by increasing intra-abdominal pressure.

Use
Conform (fold) the back stays to the curve of your back. Position the belt around the waist, with the finger loop on the right. Centre the belt by placing the back stays on either side of the spine. Close the belt using the hand loop. Installation is illustrated in the instructions for use.
Sizes
Available in 5 sizes: S, M, L, XL and XXL.

Measurement: waist circumference, at navel level.
If you're between sizes, we recommend you take the next size up.
To be effective, the lumbar support belt must stick to the skin.

Composition:
- Non-textile components : polyamide (hook and loop fastener), brushed tempered steel (back stays), polyoxymethylene (chest stays).
- Textile components : polyamide, polyurethane, polyester, elastane.
Care : machine wash at 30°C (delicate cycle).
Close hook and loop fasteners before washing.
Do not machine wash more than 10 times. Do not dry clean.
Do not use detergents, softeners or aggressive products (chlorine products, etc.).
Do not tumble dry.
Do not iron.
Press dry.
Dry away from a direct source of heat (radiator, sun, etc.).
Dry flat.
Precautions for use :
Check the integrity of the device before each use.
Do not use the device if it is damaged.
Choose the right size for the patient by referring to the size chart.
In the event of discomfort, significant discomfort, pain, variation in the volume of the limb, abnormal sensations or a change in the colour of the extremities, remove the device and consult a healthcare professional.
For reasons of hygiene and performance, do not reuse the device for another patient.
Do not use the device when applying certain products to the skin (creams, ointments, oils, gels, patches, etc.).
It is recommended that the device is adequately tightened to ensure that it is held/immobilised without restricting blood circulation.
Contraindications:
- Do not place the product in direct contact with damaged skin.
- Do not use in the event of a known allergy to one of the components.
- History of venous or lymphatic disorders.
- Do not use in the event of a history of major venous thromboembolism without thrombo-prophylactic treatment.
