Thuasne sport knee support 

The Thuasne sport support knee brace is made from a compressive knitted fabric that helps to improve proprioception during sport (rugby, running, handball, basketball, etc.). It is suitable for returning to sport in the event of knee pain and/or oedema. The anatomically shaped knit hugs the knee.

Simple to use

Put on the knee brace, the logo indicates the top and front of the product. Make sure the kneecap is correctly positioned in the flexible knitting area provided.

Sizes

Available in 5 sizes: S, M, L, XL and XXL. Choose the right knee brace for your knee circumference using our size guide.

Measurement: circumference of semi-flexed knee, right in the middle of the knee.

If you are between two sizes, we advise you to take the larger size.

To be effective, the brace must stick to the skin.

Bilateral product: The brace is suitable for both knees.

Additional information

Composition : Polyamide, elastane, cotton.

Care : machine wash at 30°C (delicate cycle).

Use a washing net if possible.

Do not use detergents, fabric softeners or aggressive products (chlorine products, etc.).

Squeeze dry.

Dry away from a direct source of heat (radiator, sun, etc.).

If the device is exposed to seawater or chlorinated water, rinse well with clean water and dry.

Precautions for use

Check the integrity of the device before each use.

Do not use the device if it is damaged.

Choose the right size for the patient by referring to the size table.

For reasons of hygiene and performance, do not reuse the device for another patient.

Do not use the device when applying certain products to the skin (creams, ointments, oils, gels, patches, etc.).

Contraindications

• Do not use if diagnosis is uncertain.
• Do not use if there is a known allergy to any of the ingredients.
• Do not place the product in direct contact with damaged skin.
• History of venous or lymphatic disorders.
• Do not use in the event of a history of major venous thromboembolism without thrombo-prophylactic treatment.
