Description/Destination

The device is intended only for treatment of the indications listed and for patients whose patients whose measurements correspond to the size chart.

Bilateral product. Available in 7 sizes.

The device consists of :

• a removable patellar insert ,
• an anatomically shaped knitted fabric incorporating a flexible mesh at the back of the kneepad
• flexible lateral stays

Indications

• Anterior knee or patella pain.
• Mild patellar instability.
• Patellar tendinopathy (including jumper's syndrome).
• Knee pain and/or oedema.
• Mild to moderate osteoarthritis of the knee.

Properties/Mode of action

• Conformable insert to support the patella.
• Standardised elastic compression knit (23-32 mmHg/31-43 hPa) providing support and proprioception.
• Specific knit construction for easy fitting: rear part of the knee pad and back part of the knee brace and earpieces for fitting.
• Viscose yarn for added softness.
• Knee brace stays in place on the leg thanks to the flexible side stays and the anti-slip system.

Care

• Machine wash at 30°C (delicate cycle). Use a washing net if possible. We recommend removing the patellar insert before washing. Note its original position (flat area on the outside, wide area on top) so that it can be repositioned correctly.
• Do not machine wash the device more than 20 times.
• Do not use detergents, softeners or aggressive products (chlorinated products, etc.).
• Squeeze dry. Dry away from a direct source of heat (radiator, sun...). If the device is exposed to seawater or chlorinated water, take care to rinse well with clean water and dry.
