Thuasne sport anti-epicondylitis wristband

The Thuasne sport anti-epicondylitis bracelet supports the epicondyle to treat lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow) or medial epicondylitis (golfer's elbow). It is also suitable for joint effusion and swelling due to osteoarthritis and arthritis. It's ideal for returning to sport, particularly activities involving the tendons in the arm (tennis, squash, golf, etc.). Its two silicone inserts reduce strain on the elbow. The pad containing the silicone insert is removable to position it correctly over painful areas, and the compression can be adjusted using the tightening strap.

Simple to use

Put on the bracelet and place it under the elbow. Place the adjustment part (tightening strap + buckle) on the inside of the arm. Adjust the removable silicone insert to position it correctly over the painful area, then secure the strap with the self-grip.

The product is ambidextrous (fits both wrists).

 Sizes

Available in 2 sizes. Choose the wristband to fit your forearm circumference using our size guide.

Measurement: circumference of forearm, 8 cm from elbow.

If you are between two sizes, we advise you to take the larger size.

To be effective, the anti-epicondylitis wristband must stick to the skin.

The anti-epicondylitis wristband is suitable for both arms.

Additional information

Composition: polyamide, polyurethane, polyester, cotton, elastane, silicone.

Care : machine wash at 30°C (delicate cycle).

Do not use detergents, fabric softeners or aggressive products (chlorine products, etc.).

Squeeze dry.

Dry away from a direct source of heat (radiator, sun, etc.).

Precautions for use :

Check the integrity of the device before each use.

Do not use the device if it is damaged.

Choose the right size for the patient by referring to the size chart.

In the event of discomfort, significant discomfort, pain, variation in the volume of the limb, abnormal sensations or a change in the colour of the extremities, remove the device and consult a healthcare professional.

For reasons of hygiene and performance, do not reuse the device for another patient.

Do not use the device when applying certain products to the skin (creams, ointments, oils, gels, patches, etc.).

It is recommended that the device is adequately tightened to ensure that it is held/immobilised without restricting blood circulation.

Contraindications:

• Do not place the product in direct contact with damaged skin.
• Do not use in the event of a known allergy to one of the components.
• History of venous or lymphatic disorders.
• Do not use in the event of a history of major venous thromboembolism without thrombo-prophylactic treatment.
