DESCRIPTION

Bepanthen 5% ointment is a medicine indicated for the treatment of skin irritation, particularly diaper rash (red bottom) in infants.

Skin irritations are caused by damage to the skin's protective barrier. They manifest as redness, peeling or cracking of the skin. They can be caused by products, rubbing, the cold, etc.

USE ADVICE

Bepanthen 5% should be applied 1 to several times a day, massaging gently.

Bepanthen 5% skin irritation ointment is contraindicated in the event of hypersensitivity to one of the constituents and in the event of oozing or infected dermatosis. Bepanthen 5% ointment contains lanolin (wool fat) and may cause skin reactions (e.g. eczema).

If symptoms persist after 5 days of treatment, you should seek medical advice.

Notable excipients: lanolin (wool fat), stearyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol.

Excipients :

Protegin X*, vaseline, wool fat, white beeswax, almond oil, cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, liquid paraffin, purified water.

*Composition of Protegin X: light liquid paraffin, petroleum jelly, microcrystalline wax (THG), glycerol monooleate, wool fat alcohols.
