Amorolfine Biogaran is a medicated antifungal nail varnish (for conditions caused by microscopic fungi) applied directly to the affected nail(s). Amorolfine Biogaran is used in the treatment of nail fungus, which is a condition caused by microscopic fungi.
Indications :

Contraindications:
Never use Amorolfine Biogaran: if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substance (amorolfine) or to any of the other ingredients.
Amorolfine Biogaran is generally applied to the affected nails once or twice a week. In normal use, this bottle allows approximately 134 applications. Amorolfine Biogaran is used locally on the nail(s).
Follow the following recommendations carefully :
Before applying Amorolfine Biogaran for the first time, carefully clean your nails and file the affected area of the nail (especially the surface) as thoroughly as possible.
Take care not to file the periungual skin (the skin around the nail).
Clean the nail surface with a compress or cloth soaked in nail polish remover.
Apply Amorolfine Biogaran varnish using one of the reusable spatulas over the entire surface of the affected nail.
Do not wipe the spatula over the edge of the bottle.
Clean the spatula with a compress or cloth soaked in nail varnish remover to remove any nail varnish remaining on the spatula.
Repeat each of these steps for any other affected nails. You can use the same spatula for another affected nail, but it's important to clean it thoroughly between nails to avoid contaminating the varnish.
When you've finished treating all the affected nails, recap the bottle tightly.
Repeat the above steps for each affected nail.
In all cases, follow the doctor's prescription. In general, Amorolfine Biogaran should be applied to the affected nails once or twice a week. Treatment should be continued without interruption until the nail has completely grown back and healed.
Treatment generally lasts 6 months for fingernails and 9 months for toenails.

Do not apply ordinary nail varnish or other nail cosmetics to treated nails.
This product contains ethanol (alcohol). Too frequent use or incorrect application may cause irritation and dryness of the skin around the nail. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription. No effect of amorolfine is expected during pregnancy and breast-feeding due to negligible systemic exposure (passage of the drug into the blood). Amorolfine may be used during pregnancy and while breast-feeding.
